Boone Supported Living
Our mission is to provide ordinary lives for extraordinary people. The company’s founder, Julie Schupp, began her career supporting the I/DD community in the early 1990s in Kirksville, during which time a new model of service called “Individualized Support Living” (ISL) was introduced. Through this new model, Julie was better able to better meet the company mission of providing more ordinary lives.
Today, the BSL team continues this work by partnering with families to ensure their children with developmental disabilities launch successfully from home and without fear of ending up in a nursing home or other institutional setting. We help families be the super-heros their loved one needs them to be. Together, we are often able to pull off what was once impossible.
Our Career Opportunities
The greatest need we have is for rock star Direct Support Professionals (DSP). As a growing organization navigating a challenging labor market, it is our priority to ensure we hire only the best staff to care for the individuals we support.
Other employment opportunities may also be available such as Professional Managers and other administrative roles, but DSPs are our top priority.
