Chariton Valley Association

Chariton Valley Association is a private, non-profit organization established in 1982 in Kirksville, MO by a group of parents of children with developmental disabilities who recognized a need for local services. Chariton Valley Association has a proud history of providing high quality support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in Northeast Missouri – primarily in Adair County. Chariton Valley Association’s mission is to empower people with disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence through high quality and diverse supports, including Host Homes, Individualized Supported Living Homes (ISL), and Family and Community Supports. CVA is a pioneer in the Technology First movement and is Shift accredited.

CVA currently has multiple positions open, including a part-time LPN, Professional Manager for ISLs, Assistant Lead Support Professional, and multiple full-time and part-time Direct Support Professional opportunities (especially nights and weekends).
